One day, I’ll post more. Starting today.

So things are moving far more slowly than I wanted to over on the writing front. This is what happens when you’re in the final throws of graduate school, and your academic writing i taking up the time that should be used for more fun fiction writing.   Just kidding, kids. School is important. However, […]

Updates! OMG UPDAAAAAATES!

A couple of things: 1: No, the 2nd book isn’t out yet. I know you guys think I’m George RR Martin or something, but in actuality, this takes a lot of work. I’ve decided to go back and re-write a couple of chapters, also. Which I should reserve for when it’s done, but I needed […]

Thank you, Figments and Filaments!

I have returned from my journey to Kansas City for the first ever Figments and Filaments costuming convention, and enjoyed it thoroughly. I am looking forward to next year! Thanks to the organizers and fine folks of the Midwest for wonderful hospitality and a great time. 🙂

Just a happy little update!

After 2 rejections, rushed applications, tears, and moving 100 miles, I have been admitted and accepted an offer of admission to the University of New Hampshire’s History-Museum Studies MA program. You may now go back to your literary adventures. 🙂

Short takes.

I’ve always loved the short story. I think it’s a fun medium that really allows one’s imagination to pour out ideas into compact one-shot tales. So I’m writing a couple. 🙂 I’m working on one entitled, “Megalopolis” at the moment. It’s a dystopian reality set in what would seem to be our future. I’m hoping […]

Check out this Q&A I just participated in!

My friend Justin Aucoin over at jmaucoin.com was kind enough to ask me to participate in an author Q&A for his blog! http://jmaucoin.com/2013/12/09/qa-with-angela-costello-author-of-of-summer-and-winter/ He’s a friend of mine from the SCA who also writes some great short stories. Definitely check out his work!   Thanks for the opportunity, Justin!

RI Comic Con was great PLUS Kickstarter!

I had another successful weekend at RI Comic Con a few weeks ago. It doesn’t seem to be a huge market for prose, but books did sell, and as always, I met a lot of really great people. I am looking forward to next year. Also, I’ve officially started my Kickstarter for the next book! […]

IndieGogo LIVE!

http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/help-support-angband/x/1583287 I have some really great perks up for this campaign, so I hope that everyone pitches in and/or shares the link!  This doesn’t just support the sequel, it is going to support my entire studio that needs some serious upgrades. Please read my blurb and tell me what you think!

School is tough, new blog for history buffs.

I’m had to take a hiatus from working on the sequel to further my academic mind this semester. However, never fear! It is coming, I promise. I also have a newish blog I’ve been working on for my participation in the SCA. You can find it just a hop away at annasrome.blog.com.

New Year, New Story.

The sequel, “The Overcast of Autumn” is underway, coinciding with my history thesis, so it will be a busy next few months as I finish my second, and hopefully, final undergraduate degree, so I can move into my master’s program next year. I am also in the process of building a new blog to focus […]
